The course (Managerial Challenges) is adressed to the second year master students of Management. The focus of the text is to discuss the different challenges that face the management discpline. According to the author, the management discipline is articulated and applied in a turbulent environment in which various variables interact positively and negatively; and as an example he puts his thumb on the effects of technology and globalization on the managerial trend inside the organizations.
The students are required to:
1. Read carefully the text and use the dictionary to understand the hard concepts.
2. Answer the following questions:
Ø What are the different challenges facing the managerial discipline?
Ø How the technology revolution impacts the evolving trend of the management?
Ø How the globalization wave affects the evolution of the management discipline?
