The course (The World Trade Organization Fracas) is addressed to the first year master students of Economics The focus of the text is to discuss the issue of the World Trade Organization institution (WTO). According to the author, this institution has created tensions at various levels in different locations and it is considered by some as the biggest enemy of the mankind.

The students are required to:

1. Read carefully the text and use the dictionary to understand the hard concepts.

2.  Answer the following questions:

Ø  What does it mean by the World Trade Orgnaization (WTO)?

Ø  To what extent the WTO is considered as the biggest enemy to the mankind?

Ø  According to you, is this institution prone to push ahead the global trade between nations and why ?
