This “ENVIRONMENT” course is a semester module (1st semester), intended for students in the first year of the Licence Tronc Commun (Common Core). It also aims to highlight man's responsibility for this degradation and the natural causes of change. The course aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the different forms of pollution, from air to water, soil to noise, by studying the sources of pollutants and the mechanisms of their propagation, and focusing on possible solutions to minimize the various forms of pollution. The program demonstrates the tangible consequences of pollution on ecosystems and human life. The teaching aims to prepare students to contribute actively to solving the environmental crisis in an informed and responsible way. The course is divided into eight learning units that enable you to acquire skills on the different forms of pollution and their impact on the environment.

The competency targeted by this course, as a whole, is “to be able to define the different forms of pollution and their causes, as well as their impact on the environment, and to be responsible for limiting the causes of pollution”.
