This course is intended for 1st year Licence students in mathematics and computer science. It offers the basics of descriptive statistics. It also allows students to learn how to calculate position and dispersion indicators of statistical series. The second section of this course focuses on improving the skills of learners in combinatorial analysis which helps us calculate probabilities by counting. Finally this course offers the fundamental notions on the calculation of probabilities, the notion of independence and conditional probability.
