The course (Communicating Across and Within Strutures) is addressed to the second year master students of Management. The focus of the text is to discuss the issue of communication between the different hierarchical positions of the organization. This communication takes either the functional or unofficial forms or both while the goal remains to set the flexibility patterns of the messages and the envisioned strategies.
The students are required to:
1. Read carefully the text and use the dictionary to understand the hard concepts.
2. Answer the following questions:
Ø What does it mean by the organizational communication?
Ø What does it mean by the official communication?
Ø What does it mean by the unofficial communication ?
Ø How can the effective communication ensure the flexibilty among employees to understand and apply the prescribed tasks?
